Well I'm Back.  If had alot going on in the past two weeks and sort of pushed blogging off to the side.  The trouble all started last tuesday when my grandma went in for triple bypass surgery.  My whole family waited at the hospital while she was in surgery for over 7 hours execpt for me cause i had class.  But she came out fine and was doing well.  Then later that night I got a call from my mom.  My grandma had a stroke will in the intensive care unit.  She had immediate memory loss.  She also loss the use of her left side of her body.  In the days that followed the doctors pumped red platelets into her.  To try and sort of jump start her brain and remove the clog that caused the stroke.  These were an absoloutely horrible few days for my family.  But she started to regain movement in her left hand and eventually her leg too.  Now she is okay even thought she is still at the hospital my family is praying for her release very shortly.  So thats what has been going on in my life.

I would just like to talk about what I think is one of the best sites on the internet.  http://www.ebaymotors.com   This is a great site where you can look for new or used cars by indidual sellers across the united states.  Whether you are looking for a car for your self.  Or you just want to know all of the options and how fast zero to 60 mph that your dream car can go its a great website.  I really encourage anyone with at least a little interest in cars to check it out.

"The Blog phenomenon" by John C. Dvorak

This is an interesting article where talks about the newest trend the blog.  Althought they had a slow beginning weblogs are more popular than ever.  He tells what he thinks are the five main reasons why people blog.  They blog for ego gratification, for anidepersonalization, also for the elimination of frustration.  They also blog for the societal need to share and for all of the wanna-be writers.

"It's as easy as falling off a weblog" by Chris Alden

If you agreed to so someone who has never been on the net before around.  What would you show them that would grab their attention and make them want to use the net.  Chris Alden's answer was weblogs.  For a newcomer who has no experience once they find a blog that relates to them all the surfing has already been done for them.  I agree that showing a newcomer weblogs would be a great way to get them interested in the net.  All around a good article.

Journal vs. Weblog by Ryan Kawailani Ozawa

He discussed the differences between a weblog and an online journal.  Saying that a weblog is a filter of the internet.  This is supposed to help people go to all the sites that interest them.  Without having to do all the surfing themselves to find the good sites. The blogger has already do that for you.  He also said that a web journal is an daily update of the events in someones life.  I found this article very interesting, because it will help me to try to have a weblog and not an online journal.
